Cybersecurity Innovation Day & Launch of CyberCall 2022

Cybersecurity Innovation Day & Launch of CyberCall 2022
Singapore, 31 August 2022
Stamford Ballroom, Raffles City Convention Centre

In 2021, Singapore refreshed its National Cybersecurity Strategy to address new and emerging cyber threats that will increase in scale and sophistication. These are the three key pillars – building resilient infrastructure, enabling safer cyberspace, and strengthening international partnerships that Singapore aims to protect, adapt and collaborate toward enhancing the nation’s cybersecurity space.

Taking a step further, the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore launched its first Cybersecurity Industry Call For Innovation (CyberCall) initiative in 2018 to uplift Singapore’s cybersecurity landscape and enable companies to innovate and tackle cybersecurity challenges. The CyberCall aims to:

  • Catalyse the development of innovative cybersecurity solutions to meet national cybersecurity and strategic needs;

  • Develop a vibrant local cybersecurity ecosystem through the building of  advanced cybersecurity capabilities, as well as growing the pipeline of local talent;

  • Identify and articulate mid to long-term cybersecurity challenges to encourage the trial and adoption of novel solutions.

This year, on August 31st, the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA), together with partners, National University of Singapore (NUS) Enterprise and TNB Ventures celebrated Cybersecurity Innovation Day and officially launched the fourth edition of CyberCall 2022 in Singapore. With support by ICE71 – Innovation Cybersecurity Ecosystem at BLOCK71, the successful turnout was attended by academia, cybersecurity professionals, investors and companies from startups to multinational corporations.
