On 12th November, Wednesday, we brought together the Nordic-Baltic and Singapore fintech communities for an exchange on the future of responsible digital finance and fraud prevention. Innovators across both regions are leveraging AI, blockchain, and data-driven compliance tools to enhance digital trust and transparency. From the Nordic-Baltic advances in open banking and regulatory harmonisation to Singapore’s leadership in real-time monitoring and digital identity, the conversations reflected a shared commitment to secure, inclusive, and sustainable financial growth.
👏 The evening began at the Danish Ambassador’s Residence, with welcome remarks by Danish Ambassador Jakob Brix Tange.
🎤 This was followed by a keynote address from H.E. Janus Kizenevic, Vice Minister of Finance of Lithuania, who provided valuable insights into the region’s evolving financial landscape.
🔥 We then moved into a fireside chat on Digital Trust and Cybercrime in the Financial Sector, moderated by Yitch, featuring an excellent panel: Thomas Krogh Jensen (CEO, Copenhagen Fintech), Erik Ingvoldstad (CEO, PayTech Neo) and Miki Kuusinen (Adviser, Payments Systems Department, Bank of Finland (Suomen Pankki - Finlands Bank)).
