All Singapore Initiatives

Smart Cities

A smart city has the potential to “give back” three working weeks every year to each city dweller.

Singapore’s Smart Nation Initiative, launched in 2014, is yielding results and Singapore awarded as Smart City of 2018 at Smart City Expo World Congress. Another valuable trophy for Singapore was a research done by Juniper  putting Singapore on first place globally when measuring citizens mobility, healthcare, public safety and productivity.

Singapore’s ambitions do not stop here, and thanks for commitments from all levels, The Red Dot’s ecosystem is constantly looking for new innovative solutions to improve the livelihoods of its citizens. This naturally creates interesting opportunities also for Nordic companies.

Nordic Innovation House – Smart Cities theme will encourage and support these Nordic initiatives to expand their foothold in Singapore and Southeast Asia. In 2019, Nordic Innovation House Singapore (NIH-SG) share the mission to support other Smart Cities delegations with its core partners from Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Iceland.
