2023 Delegation to Singapore: Sustainable development in the built environment
Singapore, 23-27 November 2023
During 23 - 27 October, a delegation from Finland and Sweden visited to learn more about Singapore’s innovation ecosystem, business landscape and market opportunities in the area of built environment.
The delegation programme focused on gaining insights and building connections within the space of sustainable development (e.g. Greener Infrastructure & Buildings, Sustainable Towns & Districts).

Meeting with a real estate developer (City Development Limited)
Hearing about the learnings from a Nordic company operating in Singapore (KONE)
Visit to Punggol and meeting with statutory board for public housing (Housing and Development Board)
Visit to the Smart Urban Co-Innovation Lab, Southeast Asia’s first industry-led lab for smart city solutions development initiated by CapitaLand Investment (CLI) and supported by CapitaLand Ascendas Real Estate Investment Trust, Infocomm Media Development Authority and Enterprise Singapore
Meeting with a statutory board in industrial development (JTC Corporation)
Meeting with a government agency in enterprise development (Enterprise Singapore)
Meeting with a construction engineering company (Meinhardt)
