Our traditional perspectives of transport are about to be disrupted by new technologies, such as self-driving vehicles, electrification, and new digital solutions, which will provide a smoother experience of mobility services. The development of mobility is vibrant, with extensive research, new businesses and services, and several pilot schemes.

Nordic Innovation House is launching an initiative to grow and support the connection between the Nordic mobility ecosystem with the innovation ecosystem in Silicon Valley.

Within the scope of this initiative we will support stakeholders in the Nordic ecosystem to strengthen their presence in Silicon Valley. Further we aim for boosting the exposure of the Nordic ecosystem and possibilities in the Nordic market to stakeholders in Silicon Valley.

For information about future activities, please join our mailing list or follow Nordic Innovation House on social media.

Nordic Future Mobility Summit was a three-day conference at Stanford University during January 15-17th 2020 with a mission to strengthen collaborations between Nordic and US, Silicon Valley based actors within the field of future mobility. Specific thematic themes were The Future of Logistics, Data Sharing, and AI for Good. In addition, the summit further focused on collaboration between and among the public sector, universities and academia, and the industry - which have led to further discussions and collaborations between some of the summit participants and summit attendees. For instance, the summit contributed with international connections, where one example is the project HITS, a project with 15 Swedish actors within sustainable urban transport systems, engaging in a collaboration with Stanford University.
